IRCAM (Institute of Research & Coordination in Acoustics and Music) as co-organizer and sponsor of the first International Geometric Science of Information GSI2013, wishes to welcome you as participants to this exciting event that is gathering more than 100 researchers worldwide. IRCAM is the world's largest public research center dedicated to Sound and Music Computing; a unique location where artistic projects collide with scientific and technological innovation and where artists and scientists work together of different fields of research relating to sound from cognitive aspects to signal processing as well as numerical computing of sound.

We are happy to invite participants interested in a guided tour of IRCAM laboratories on the evening of August 28th followed by a live performance involving human musicians and computers (and of course computational geometry). The guided tour as well as the demonstration are subject to physical limitations. We therefore ask interested participants to register themselves for the event on the first day of the conference at the registration desk.
