On-going research and investments in air transportation are driven by the ambition to increase the efficiency of aircraft, reducing fuel consumption and hence carbon emission. Another ambition is to reduce operating costs and to increase reliability. Given the high demand for air transportation and its expected growth, these challenges are of major importance. Recent developments for pursuing these critical requirements concerned the electrification of aircraft systems which significantly increased electrical power needs and impacted aircraft power architecture. More electrical technology is being driven by strong advances in power electronic devices, high efficiency power generators, advanced actuation systems, energy storage technologies, new manufacturing processes, new power generation and distribution architectures. Whilst many concepts have already been demonstrated on more-electrical platforms, developments on more electric aircraft systems are subject to on-going research programmes of major importance. There is much more to do to challenge the power density and improve the reliability while taking the best of the intrinsic advantages of electrical technology. New research programmes in Europe and beyond are also pushing innovative propulsion concepts, all electric, hybrid or turboelectric, potentially distributed. The design for this future generation of more electric propulsion aircraft challenges not only structure and aerodynamics but also power distribution, energy storage, thermal management, reliability and certification all of which will be addressed during the conference. 
Following the successful European conference held in Bordeaux in February 2017, the organisers of MEA2019 invite industry and research representatives to contribute to this new exciting edition in Toulouse, and to share ideas, lessons learnt and solutions relating to technological developments as well as future concepts associated to more/all electrical aircraft. Transport aircraft, light aircraft, unmanned aircraft, fixed wing as well as rotorcraft, will be considered, either for commercial, military or private use.
An industrial exhibition organized together with the conference will give opportunity to the audience to visit  booths where labs and industry will highlight their latest achievement related to MEA. Furthermore, MEA2019 will be held in parallel with the DECIELEC event ( and registration to MEA2019 conference will give the opportunity to attend freely this industrial exhibition with more than 100 booths on connected & embedded systems, power electronics and energy systems management.


More than 70 abstracts have been received responding to the call for paper; following the reviewing process led by the program committee half of them are already accepted, the remaining ones still have to be completed or revised according to the reviewers comments.
Such figure is promising for a successful conference; its final program will combine invited presentations during plenary sessions, highly interactive poster sessions, as well as keynotes delivered by managers coming from major European aeronautical industries and labs. 
Registration for the industrial exhibition has already started in such a way that the attendees at the conference will also benefit an extensive vision of on-going product developments.

The world of test & telemetry is changing quickly. Whatever the industry field: aeronautic, space, automotive, defence, railways ... we are facing tremendous change: reallocation of telemetry spectrum pushed by the mobile network operators, Internet of Things (IoT) driving low cost solutions for sensors, computing and wireless devices, Big Data opening new ways to analyse the information collected ...
Although new technologies will change our way of working, the question is how and when?
The ambition of ETTC 2019 is to help attendees to prepare the future by anticipating next breakthroughs.

ETTC2019 wiIl provide the opportunity for scientists and engineers to report and discuss the latest developments in testing methods, especially in aeronautic and space domain.

L’Association Aéronautique et Astronautique de France (3AF) et la Société de l’Electricité, de l’Electronique et des Technologies de l’information et de la Communication (SEE) organisent la nouvelle édition de la Conférence Européenne des Essais et Télémesures, ETTC 2019. Une attention particulière sera portée cette année sur  comment les technologies utilisées pour le « Big data » peuvent aider la communauté des essais. Une session spéciale sera organisée par l’ICTS (International Consortium for Telemetry Spectrum) et une par l’ETSC (European Telemetry Standardization Committee).

The 3AF and SEE societies organize the next ETTC2019 edition. This year, specific attention will be paid to: how “Big data” technology can help the tests community. A special session will be organised by ICTS (the International Consortium for Telemetry Spectrum) and one by ETSC (European Telemetry Standardization Committee).

Depuis 1985, ETTC est organisé conjointement par la 3AF et la SEE, en liaison avec l’Arbeitskreis Telemetrie EV en Allemagne et l’International Foundation for Telemetering aux Etats-Unis. ETTC est organisé, en France les années impaires en alternance avec le colloque ETC, en Allemagne, les années paires.
Since 1985, ETTC is jointly organised by the 3AF and SEE with Arbeitskreis Telemetrie EV in Germany and the International Foundation for Telemetering in the United State. ETTC is held in France each odd year, alternately with the German conference ETC the even year.

As for GSI’13, GSI’15 and GSI’17, the objective of this SEE GSI’19 conference, hosted in Toulouse at ENAC, is to bring together pure/applied mathematicians and engineers, with common interest for Geometric tools and their applications for Information analysis.
It emphasizes an active participation of young researchers to discuss emerging areas of collaborative research on “Geometric Science of Information and their Applications”.
Current and ongoing uses of Information Geometry Manifolds in applied mathematics are the following: Advanced Signal/Image/Video Processing, Complex Data Modeling and Analysis, Information Ranking and Retrieval, Coding, Cognitive Systems, Optimal Control, Statistics on Manifolds, Topology/Machine/Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Speech/sound recognition, natural language treatment, Big Data Analytics, Learning for Robotics, etc., which are substantially relevant for industry.
The Conference will be therefore held in areas of topics of mutual interest with the aim to:
  • Provide an overview on the most recent state-of-the-art
  • Exchange mathematical information/knowledge/expertise in the area

The French SEE Society (Société de l'Electricité, de l'Electronique et des technologies de l'information et de la communication) organises RADAR 2019 in Toulon. The conference will be organized in the frame of the International relations set up between the IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology), the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), the CIE (Chinese Institute of Electronics), the IEAust (Institute of Engineers Australia) and SEE.

In order to satisfy the electric network needs… The utilities, network operators, and industrial equipment manufacturers, altogether permanently contribute to substation equipments’ improvements. Furthermore, it is necessary to move forward in product betterment, in order to satisfy the requirement due to existing network compatibility. “Smart Grids”, renewable energies sources and fully automatized applications are new challenges within sustainable development policy.
The applications for this wide and cross-cutting conference, covers the MV, HV or EHV substations, either gas or air insulated, as well as MV/LV substation equipment such as:
• Switchgears, circuit breakers, switchers and selectors,
• Power and instrument transformers,

L’année 2020 sera celle du 200ème anniversaire de la découverte des lois de l’Électrodynamique. André-Marie Ampère est à l’origine de ces découvertes fondamentales pour le monde scientifique qui ont apporté à tous un confort matériel. 
Les communautés scientifiques et industrielles et le monde de l’éducation devraient s’associer pour mettre à l’honneur Ampère en 2020 à cette occasion.
La SEE, par sa vocation et sa légitimité de société savante dans le domaine de l’Électricité, propriétaire de la Maison d’Ampère- Musée de l’Electricité, et la SAAMA (Société des Amis d’André-Marie Ampère) par la responsabilité de la gestion qui lui a été confiée, ont pour ambition d’accompagner ce projet. La SAAMA entretient et met en  valeur le patrimoine et les collections du Musée de l’Électricité qui présentent en grande partie les expériences qui ont conduit André-Marie Ampère à ses découvertes
